I also have this problem with ejb.aggregate. I would like to see this entire
remove block become optional, as one may use it to aggregate a parent object,
and parents usually should not be removed when children are removed.

Key: XDT-705
Summary: catch RemoteException generated in ejbRemove but never thrown
Type: Bug
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: XDoclet
Components:
EJB Module
Versions:
1.2
Assignee: xdoclet-devel (Use for new issues)
Reporter: Jeroen van Bemmel

Environment: Any
Description:
In entity-body.xdt line 251-259 (1.2b3 from CVS) a try{ ... } catch block is
generated around a call to remove() methods in aggregated objects.
This needs to be done conditionally, i.e. remove() will only throw a
RemoteException when it is actually a remote interface
I am using a local interface, so the generated code will not compile because
javac complains that the exception is never thrown
To resolve this, there needs to be a tag that checks if the remove() method
throws 'RemoteException' or not
