Not sure what the problem was but when I ran middlegen and xdoclet in the same
ant session the complaints about timestamps went away.

Description:
When running ejbdoclet I get a slew of errors of this form during the
deployment descriptor create part of ejbdoclet.
[ejbdoclet] XJavaDoc Ignoring class com.acme.entity.FoobarEBL in
C:\EJBuilder\build\src\com\acme\entity\FoobarEBL.java. It was generated (Thu
Jun 02 12:47:25 PDT 2005) after XJavaDoc's timestamp was reset (Thu Jun 02
12:46:57 PDT 2005)
The *EBL files are generated by the ejbdoclet task that also generates the
deployment descriptors.
