I have been moving away from XDoclet, too.
Hibernate Annotations are such a breeze to use, even in the current (beta 2)
release.
There is not really a need for XDoclet any more, if you use JDK 1.5 and have
annotations at hand.
I guess this is the reason why it has become very silent about fixing and
enhancing XDoclet.
