Key: XDT-1458
Summary: xdoclet ignores tags derived from struts tags
Type: Bug
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: XDoclet
Components:
Web Module
Versions:
1.2.3
Assignee: xdoclet-devel (Use for new issues)
Reporter: Rick Mann
Created: Tue, 5 Jul 2005 2:40 PM

Environment: Mac OS X 10.4, Java 1.4.2_07, ant 1.6.x
Description:
I've tried to get support for this problem on the mailing list, but I'm either
ignored or the problem is attributed to struts.jar not being on the class path.
However, struts *is* on the class path; I use the same classpath for xdoclet as
I do for compiling. Compiling works fine. If I modify my class to derive
directly from TagSupport, it works fine. It's only when deriving from a struts
tag that it fails to work correctly.
This is completely blocking our use of xdoclet.
TIA.
