Never mind the remark about the unmatch '>'... All subtasks seem to have that
and it jelly.plugin parses fine.
I did some more experimenting and found something odd: if I add the following
dependency to the POM in the attached example I will get a "BUILD SUCCESFUL"
upon invoking xdoclet:jmxdoclet. It does not generate the interface or the
deployment descriptor.
<dependency>
<groupId>xdoclet</groupId>
<artifactId>xdoclet-jboss-module</artifactId>
<version>1.2.3</version>
<properties>
<ejb.bundle>false</ejb.bundle>
</properties>
<url>http://xdoclet.sourceforge.net</url>
</dependency>

Here is an overview of the issue:
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Key: XDT-1474
Summary: Maven XDoclet JMX module does not generate JBoss service.xml for
MBeans
Type: Bug
Status: Open
Priority: Major
Original Estimate: Unknown
Time Spent: Unknown
Remaining: Unknown
Project: XDoclet
Components:
JMX Module
Versions:
1.2.1
1.2.3
Assignee: xdoclet-devel (Use for new issues)
Reporter: Jeroen Peschier
Created: Tue, 19 Jul 2005 3:37 PM
Updated: Wed, 20 Jul 2005 4:28 PM
Environment: Win2K, JDK 1.4.2, Maven 1.0.2, XDoclet 1.2.3 (bug also confirmed
on XDoclet 1.2.1)
Description:
The jbossxmlservicetemplate subtask does not generate a *-service.xml
deploymenent descriptor for MBeans. I will attach an example that reproduces
the bug.
While checking plugin.jelly of 1.2.3 (and 1.2.1 as well) I found an unmatched
'>' just above the </jbossxmlservicetemplate> tag. Removing it does not fix the
problem though.
