I am not using Maven yet, but it strikes me that it ought to be able to mark a stable release that successfully built, thus creating a configuration file with all the named versions of the different components necessary to build that named release. Or mark in the configuration file which named versions should be fetched from a remote repository. I put in several hours a few weeks ago trying to build XDoclet2, but wiffed. As soon as I get OSWorkflow integrated, then I will take another SWAG at it, so I can write the web service stuff.
