Missing dependency, all problems went away once I added the following
to my project.xml
<dependency>
<groupId>xdoclet</groupId>
<artifactId>xdoclet-web-module</artifactId>
<version>1.2</version>
</dependency>
without this, ejbdoclet fails silently. Any idea why ejbdoclet needs
the web module? My source contains no web related code.
