you are not missing any dependency. it's almost
impossible with maven. but you could have  stale
snapshot dependency which came from ibiblio...

I'm not sure whether xdoclet-2 hibernate plugin 
will look  into interfaces.... not my use case.
I use abstract base class, and not an interface.
