Adam,

Finder methods and ejbSelects are not the same.
Only finders will be accessible for clients of your bean (see my previous post).
ejbSelect is a more powerful mechanism than finders but it can only be used inside a bean.

Cheers,

Kim

I'm not sure what your environment is, how your code looks, etc.  However, I can tell you that we use xdoclet 1.2.3 for our entity beans and we don't have a problem with the ejbFindByXXX methods showing up in the home/local-home interface.

For each finder/select method, do you have @ejb.finder in the javadoc?

Adam

[Xdoclet-user] @ejb.select not generating select methods in home interface.

Can anybody please tell me why XDoclet (version 1.2.3)
will not place the corresponding select method into
the home or local home interface?  I have looked
everywhere for an explanation.  This is truly
maddening.
