Hi Heiko, I am not sure what you mean exactly with version 0.7.6, there's no such release.
There's 0.7.4-6 in the development branch, maybe that version is the case here. Harald as the new developer [0] is working on an upstream patch [1] and he is doing a very good job with that. But AFAIK, he would like to wait with an official release including the patch to use the other forecast service. I can suggest you to use the sources from git [2] when you want to have a working plugin. It works very well here on my (not-Fedora) system. Please look at the upstream bug for more information. Apropos: Fedora as downstream is *really* aware of that issue [3]. Just using another licence key wouldn't solve the problem for the long term [4]. I hope this is enough, but not too much, information to answer the question and I can stop my mail here. The intention is to confuse not more users, we seem to be all aware of the weather issue. :) Best regards, Raphael [0] http://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce4-dev/2012-June/029897.html [1] https://bugzilla.xfce.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8105 [2] http://git.xfce.org/panel-plugins/xfce4-weather-plugin/ [3] https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=751579 [4] http://mail.xfce.org/pipermail/xfce4-dev/2012-May/029866.html Am Tue, 03 Jul 2012 12:00:12 +0000 schrieb xfce-requ...@lists.fedoraproject.org: > Date: Mon, 02 Jul 2012 19:46:35 +0200 > From: Heiko Adams <heiko.ad...@gmail.com> > To: Fedora Xfce users and developers <xfce@lists.fedoraproject.org> > Subject: weather plugin broken again? > Message-ID: <4ff1de7b.9090...@gmail.com> > Content-Type: text/plain; charset=ISO-8859-15 > > Hi, > is it just me or is the xfce4-weather-plugin 0.7.6 broken again.
