Hello I have only just started using linux, not sure if if this question has already been resolved. I have suse 8.1 and an intel i830 graphics chip. At the moment it can only support an 8 bit 1024x780 screen resolution. It has something to do with BIOS memory..
Will XFree86 4.3.0 solve this problem..
