I have a laptop with a CD player frontend.

Using xev, I'm able to manage the Vol +/-
But the other buttons (play, stop, ...) don't even react (ie, nothing is
shown in xev).
What makes those buttons work (or not) ?
Is it an XFree86 feature or is it due to the OS itself ?
If it is XFree86's fault :p what should I do to enable them ?
Is there a bit of code to modify ? And then, basically, how ?
