Hello,

| i noticed that spammers often connect from a high port (>3000) to our
| server. and "normal" connections come from port 25, right? so
| maybe davide
| could implement an option that closes those connections if
| NOT authenticated by popbeforesmtp or smtp-auth.

by definition, the connection may come from ANY port, AFAIK. So it's based
only upon mind of author of the remote e-mail server.

Therefore, implementing such restriction would pobably break RFC and cause
XMail to refuse connections from certain mail servers, which is the Bad
Thing(TM).
