Hi, why the Xmail server uses its own DNS resolution and ignores (probably) = the system setting?
I have configuration, where the mail server is expected to route all = queries trough one particular DNS. When I setup this DNS in system, I expect = that programs would use it. In XMail, I must specifically set it again in SERVER.TAB. This is not a reproach, only question: why you are using this behavior? = Is the DNS/DNS cache mechanism implemented in OS so bad that you must write your own for performance reason? -- Michal Altair Valasek Altair Communications - web hosting, web design, application = development _________________________________________________________________________= __ http://[EMAIL PROTECTED] | [EMAIL PROTECTED] | PGP 0xC4F3579D | Tel.: +420 603 828 = 493 When it's inevitable, relax and enjoy it. - To unsubscribe from this list: send the line "unsubscribe xmail" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED] For general help: send the line "help" in the body of a message to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
