Thanks for the tip! I've updated the plugin to use these functions so that it no longer needs to touch any of the XMMS2 core. I've had a few downloads of the plugin but no feedback, so I'm assuming no news is good news and nobody has had any problems. Could I request that the patch be merged into git so that it could get some more testing?
