Hi,
I messed around with xorg.conf settings and tried reinstalling
the old driver and xorg-core resulting in a locked pc at bootup.
After unsetting various things and rinstalling stuff, i just got
it to boot up with the new xorg and driver and now everything's
running fast.
Don't know what caused that.
