For the general case, that's highly unlikely to happen in 4.x. Whether it happens for XFree86 5 depends on whether someone (anyone) decides to take it on. It's a difficult problem in general (see the Chromium project -- chromium.sf.net). The special case where both heads are viewports into a single framebuffer may be supported by some closed source drivers today, and likely at least one open source driver in the near future.
