Hi zd1211 community, one step closer to the zd1211rw. Somehow i have to unplug and plug in my usb dongle to my computer, unless the driver can probe on it. i didn't even touched the firmware files, which are still installed and unchanged since last time i posted. now i get some more closer to get the driver working, my dongle is being detected, i can configure my wlan (wep 128bit, ip-address ...) but i cannot connect to it. here some output to make things clear:
when i boot my pc, the driver loads, but my wlan card is just off (no led) (i'm using the ohci_hcd driver for my ov511 webcam, this shouldn't be a problem i guess) ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: OHCI Host Controller ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: new USB bus registered, assigned bus number 2 ohci_hcd 0000:00:02.1: irq 18, io mem 0xf5005000 usb usb2: new device found, idVendor=0000, idProduct=0000 usb usb2: new device strings: Mfr=3, Product=2, SerialNumber=1 usb usb2: Product: OHCI Host Controller usb usb2: Manufacturer: Linux 2.6.17-rc4-mm3 ohci_hcd usb usb2: SerialNumber: 0000:00:02.1 usb usb2: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice hub 2-0:1.0: USB hub found hub 2-0:1.0: 4 ports detected Linux agpgart interface v0.101 (c) Dave Jones usb 2-3: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2 agpgart: Detected AGP bridge 0 agpgart: Setting up Nforce3 AGP. agpgart: AGP aperture is 32M @ 0xf0000000 ieee80211_crypt: registered algorithm 'NULL' usb 2-3: new device found, idVendor=0ace, idProduct=1211 usb 2-3: new device strings: Mfr=16, Product=32, SerialNumber=0 usb 2-3: Product: USB2.0 WLAN usb 2-3: Manufacturer: ZyDAS usb 2-3: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice ieee80211: 802.11 data/management/control stack, git-1.1.13 ieee80211: Copyright (C) 2004-2005 Intel Corporation <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> usb 2-4: new full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 3 usb 2-4: new device found, idVendor=05a9, idProduct=a518 usb 2-4: new device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0 usb 2-4: Product: USB Camera usb 2-4: Manufacturer: OmniVision Technologies, Inc. usb 2-4: configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice Linux video capture interface: v1.00 usb 2-3: firmware device id 0x4330 and actual device id 0x4810 differ, continuing anyway firmware_loading_store: unexpected value (0) usb 2-3: reset full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2 usb 2-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 2-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 2-3: reset full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2 usb 2-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 2-3: device descriptor read/64, error -110 usb 2-3: reset full speed USB device using ohci_hcd and address 2 ---- about here i replugged my usb dongle ----- usb 2-3: device not accepting address 2, error -110 zd1211rw: probe of 2-3:1.0 failed with error -110 usb 2-3: USB disconnect, address 2 usbcore: registered new driver zd1211rw /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ov511_core.c: USB OV518+ video device found /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ov511_core.c: Device revision 0 /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ov511_core.c: Compression required with OV518...enabling /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ovcamchip_core.c: v2.32 : OV camera chip I2C driver /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ovcamchip_core.c: Camera chip is an OV7620AE /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ov511_core.c: Device at usb-0000:00:02.1-4 registered to minor 0 usbcore: registered new driver ov511 /usr/src/ov511-2.32/ov511_core.c: v2.32 : ov511 USB Camera Driver (V4L2 disabled) nvidia: module license 'NVIDIA' taints kernel.
