The website from which Professor Cowan's talk is taken ( http://www.ldslastdays.com/ ), also posts talks and quotes from Gordon B. Hinckley, Ezra Taft Benson, Joseph F. Smith, and Joseph Fielding Smith. Not, of course, that those dead prophets would impress Brother Paul. ;-) For those who will consider writings from other than Presidents of the Church, it also cites Marion G. Romney, Bruce R. McConkie, Joseph Fielding McConkie, James E. Talmage, and Hugh Nibley. This site would hardly seem to be a bastion of RLDS thinking!
