Regressing to a previous life: it would be more inviting to Windows- folk to have an executable installer; at least until easy_install permeates the community some more.

That assumes that inducing uptake is a major goal for the ZODB project. It might well be possible that the cost of executable installers is greater than their value.

It isn't all that high.  I just uploaded a Windows release.
