With 64MB RAM, Mac OS 9.x is a bit out of reach. Since it hasn't been suggested yet, how about 8.1? I have a Quadra 700 with an 80-MHz PPC upgrade (Daystar) and it runs 8.1 quite well, and most of the software I use on my G3-upgrade 8100 works on it (a bit slower but useable). When my 8100's power supply went bad a few years ago, it served me well for about two weeks as my main Mac while I got a replacement PS off of eBay. Mac OS 8.1 is also known to be rock solid. Since that 6200 is a bit "RAM-challenged," you might be interested in this deal for Connectix RAM Doubler 9. http://www.softwareblowouts.com/ramdoubler9.html I bought it myself just a few weeks ago. My 8100 doesn't need it, but I thought I'd try it with my PPC'ed Quadra 700. Can't go too wrong for $6.95. Most of the stuff they sell is CD-only, but this one came in a new shrink-wrapped box with a real printed manual.
