Although even then .. the redistribution must still contain the
standalone versions of SwingSet2, Font2DTest and
Java2Demo, even if the applet invocations of these is not provided.

8u40 changes were already integrated in the team forest. They were
reviewed by the team members at time of integration. JDK 9 changes
are ready for integration as well.
