Exactly. All NSC does, is cut the master lacquer, they don't press.
And after last Friday, I can vouch for the mastering qualities of Ron
Murphy. We (Hans, Klaas-Jan, Pieter and me) went down there to have the
first two EPs mastered for my labels Ground Zero and TechnoTourist.

We brought the DATs and spend a while listening to them with Ron, adding
or removing some frequencies and that improved the tracks already. Then
he cut the master. Just seeing your record being cut, groove after
groove, is a beautiful sight in itself. But when he finished cutting it
and played the master, our collective jaws dropped. Even though it was
played over the exact same system as the DATs, the master sounded *so*
much better, so much more warmth and depth to the sound. It was amazing.

I can't wait to get them pressed! :)

PS When we came in, he was mastering KMS 070, a track by Gary Martin.
Brace yourself when that one will be released, it's a latin techno track
with a break that will send *any* dancefloor completely ballistic.
