Besides the excelent work of Abdul Haqq on Submerge, does anyone know of
any
visual artists *directly* connected to 313 Techno? Okay, there are some who
you might think as fitting in what you'd expect from visual arts in techno,
but I mean people who are in close relationship with the music and imagery.
Yes,
My name is Jared Wilson and I have a b.f.a. from the Center for Creative
Studies plus been a d.j./ producer for eight years. My "artwork" (although
I would not draw a line between "artwork" and "music") during the past few
years has concentrated on sound. I have had two one man exhibitions in the
past year and a half. Both of which involved sound installations based off
of rhythm. I have not had a "trad" art show in a while as I have been
concentrating mostly on my new record label. If anyone has any questions
about what I am doing I would be eager to have a more in depth dialogue.
