God damn! I truly want to believe that what you just wrote is just a big joke. Dearly held? Hopelessly biased? Revolutionary? This is musical racism, and you might as well be Hitler. Or maybe they just aren't informed enough to understand the music? Please don't write anything to the press, in fact stay away from the media as a whole. You will only hurt the cause instead of forwarding. This isn't elitism, or better than anything else, this is simply something we enjoy and others do or don't. I think you need to humble yourself to the fact that you probably didn't listen to techno your whole life. I still don't understand how you think techno is morally superior to other forms of music either. How does music have morals? If music did have morals, then techno has promoted more drug use, sex and smoking than any other form of music (and yes I'm including all the music in the 60's, we are the children of the baby boomers therefore there are more of us, way more). But that is a insipid argument that I don't care to give anymore thought to. ah well it's all good though right, yeah right todd
