Mind you, a 707 is MIDI, which makes it a great first piece of equipment
for a techno musician to be. 606's have to worry about sync boxes, kenton,
and all that expensive add-on stuff. And yes, the 606 is more expensive
due to its better sounds, cuteness, and modifiability. The 707 couldn't
control a sedated lobotomy outpatient. It can only sequence other midi
instruments in song mode, which is the main reason I sold mine. Also mind
you, Mike Taylor should soon be chiming in about how gear discussion
should be moved to his email list because that's not what 313 is for.
Lastly mind you, Breakfast of Champions by Kurt Vonnegut is an amazing
book.
