enough of the tone shifting already. how about talking about music that generates some rump-shifting.
also,.. seconding josh's sentiments on the grandmaster flash performance last night. not only did he do a 30-min history of hiphop on the decks, but while playing doubles of every single track- and pretty much flawlessly- everything from run dmc - liquid liquid - sugarhill gang - bob james - etc,etc.. the panel discusion was amusing as well. i like how flash's interpretation of kraftwerk was a group that made 10min long drum breaks, so he could drop their tracks and go hang out with his friends for a while :) p
