In a small defence of this I said I wasn't impressed at the time but with the caveat that, as is always the way with me nowadays, I hadn't yet had time to listen properly (I've had conversations with one or two on here and, I think, posted before about how I need to sort my musical life out to not spending all my time listening to clips of what came out this week to decide if I need to buy it and spending more time listening to what I do buy as a result of doing all that!).
For once I have actually managed to give something more than a cursory once over; because the vinyl only had some of the tracks I borrowed someone's CD to put on my mp3 player (morally defensible when I already paid for the more expensive format I hope) with the result that I gave it a few listens while on holiday recently. While it's no Metaphor I do now like a few tracks which lifts it out of "really bad" for me. > From: JT Stewart [mailto:[email protected]] > Sent: 28 January 2009 15:34 > > That K Larkin album was really bad too. > Dope Jams has a hilarious description of it on their site.
