Hehe,

I was going to mention that chance meeting actually (was cool) Its actually
quite surprising how small the community really is but for me I feel quite
privileged to be part of such discerning and knowledgeable group. As a measure
of how small this group really i know a reasonable number of you thru the
London techno & clubbing scene. sadly it's noticeable how we're all
'maturing' without much evidence of fresh young faces coming on board.

Despite following the music from day 1 I'm not really sure why it took so long
to subscribe (only 3 years ago!) but I've enjoyed reading the posts and my
continued education.

I think the music is in a healthy state; certainly plenty of good releases and
the healthier state of vinyl seems to be helping. Loving the stuff from
Sistrum, Aesthetic Miles was speaking about it last weekend with some optimism
for Feb. but i know nuthin'...... GH was asking to play through various
channels in Chicago. Awesome if its happening, Soirée, Moods and Grooves and
Delano Smith/mike huckaby works on various imprints. loving the new Hood and
Terrence Dixons too.

Chicago seems to be providing some great music too from the new school of
artists like Hakim Murphy, Amir Alexander, Steve Tang Chicago Skyway and
Specter. Like some of the D above beautifully blurring house and techno into
lush and deep vibes.

I'm all set for my 1st trip to Movement next year....a meet up would be most
welcome.

Cheers, Andy
