emulation does not really push music forward, but i would not complain if
another band released stuff that could be mistaken for MBV cause MBV
certainly aren't releasing anything and i think there is still a lot of
exploration to be done in that vein.
the deep chord stuff is a good example of some great music that isn't a
total replica, but it does continue and expand on the original (Basic
Channel) tradition.

MBV hold a special place in my heart and no one (maybe not even MBV) can
live up to the pedestal i have put them on.

I should have said - Can anyone recommend some beautiful, ethereal techno in
the spirit of MBV
