There's got to be some explanation for all this.  Other than what was 
mentioned here before about the possibly of some marketing guy from Ford dug 
techno;  it might just be that since this commerical came out gearing towards 
the techno scene which sparked some interest, that other executives decided 
to overrided the techno guy at ford and struck a deal with disney/american 
music awards to have this new category added to the ceremony with these 
jokers for nominess to sell bloody cars?  could that happen?

I don't know, I think its useless to bicker about it when what the mainstream 
is doing is so totally different from what we know techno to be.  Then again 
I realize that the problem arises when the mainstream is trying to call 
"fatboy slim" techno!!???  I can see misconceptions being the big problem.
