i've got nothing wrong with Chem Bros., Fatboy Slim, Moby, whatever being in
the AMA... the only thing i wish is that they wouldn't insult techno's name
by putting them under a techno category. how about breakbeat, or dance pop?

Honestly, what does this do to the things we love? They might be calling
the dreck that these pop stars produce techno but it does absolutely
nothing to the music I love or the artists who produce this music.
Something like a Best of Techno category at the American Music (sic)
Awards is of course laughable but that is exactly my point.
Like the man said in the 1980s: Can't touch this. =)
