I'll vouch for Mike.  He is by far not the oldest man, nor the most tired or
bitter of us.  Just a bit of a pragmatist when it comes to hashing the
abstract ideas this forum seems to prompt, time and time again.

But he does have a point here.  I say, Welcome to those of you who are new
to the music, and the list!   But every now and then expect a "list-elder"
to try to reign it in and ask for fun conversation about the music.  That's
what it's all about, right?
