For me the first real Acid Track was Sleezy-D - 'I've Lost Control' on Trax
records (1986)...

The B-Line is pure acid, the only reason that this track is not recognised
as the first acid record is because the 303 is not 'tweaked' during the
track...

This isn't a knock at Phuture, it's just my personal opinion on the origins
of Acid House...

The bandwagon theory is very present in house music, maybe more than
in techno , but truth is, a lot of the people that were doing decent
underground stuff back then sold out big time, DJ Pierre
actually remixed Rupaul :)..Oakenfold remixed U2 and so on..
