just wondering if anyone can help me out with these 2 track IDs
from a Farley Jackmaster Funk mix from the mid-to-late 80's -
WGCI Chicago. Realize these are some long shots, (Eric Rinon or
Javier Drada might know?). Other tracks on the mix are by Jamie
Principal and Mr. Fingers, if that helps place the time frame.
Track 1: music is synthy slow house, kind of reminds me of John
"D-Train" Williams.
(THe chorus is a male vocal that goes):
"you should've known better,
you should've know better,
you should've know better,
you shouldn't mess with love"
(followed by a female response):
I'm goin I'm goin I'm goin I'm goin I'm goin, today..."
Track 2: great dark driving early house sound (reminds me of
Hercules - "7 ways") cut with spoken word male vocals-- here are
the words:
people people, you're are all naieve
why do you believe the things you believe
your dreams, your thoughts, your ideas
how were they conceived?
let's take time for reflection,

think about it, think about it.
how did all this madness begin?
