Sure, let's use my father in this "f'r instance". My father routinely takes gigs in America only after the production company's go through all the riggaa-ma-roll (he's a musician) needed to secure a temporary greencard allowing him to work. It ain't (isn't) easy for him, even with company's doing legwork, AND NAFTA. I have to deal with the edginess that runs through him over this always. Nothing is guaranteed in these cases. As for whether it's easier for Canuckers than 'merican's to move, well, hell, what would you do in that situation? ;o)
