know it has been mentioned before, but must add my words to growing list of
supporters of netherland's duplex. everything i've bought by them has
surpassed my expectations. the latest release on clone is permanently on my
turntable along with their groundzero 12". sheer bliss. is there anyone else
out there making music (electro/techno - dance-floor orientated) at the
moment similar in style to duplex (besides the 'better known' artists like
john tejada, titonton duvante, fabrice lig, funk d'void - and ireland's
great, great record label d1).
also picked up a release on fracture by quentin garlic (i think), just
wondering if all releases on this label were of the same ilk (deep, melodic,
melancholic techno along the lines of millstart) as the only other record
i've heard from them is claude young's 'golem craft' which has a similar
feel. any info on this label would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
aidan
