Funny thing is you are all bitching, but none of you are mentioning if >you are actually downloading it or not ($20 says you are) And how many >of you are actually going to spend the $299.95 to purchase it?

1. i am not downloading it, nor while i ever. refer to point 2.
2. I actually spent 350 on my copy, because i bought it before it came out in stores, and yes, for the very reason that i don't want this company to possibly go under because just 2 MONTHS after the software was out someone cracked it and people just downloaded it. financially, steinburg can afford it if cubase gets cracked and downloaded from a few. as for ableton, it could crush them.

3. yes, it was well worth the 350 dollars i paid for it. I also paid for fruityloops as well, for the very same reasons. good software, along with good music, deserve to be paid for.
