Sorry, I *was* in attendance for a portion of the night. Not my cup of tea
anymore, but he was obviously having a great time, and the crowd (what I
could see of them) dug it.
Perspective helps. If Richie held a "control" party every weekend in a new
city, I'd worry about his sanity, ears, and liver. But this was a chance to
go over the top. I'm looking forward to his next release, just to see if he
can sucessfully develop beyond the DE9 concept...
Not to speak for Kent, but it seemed like he was simply saying why he chose
not to attend...hard to figure how he would be seen as passing judgment on
the party.
NOW, *that* is a side of Richie (DE9 Closer...) that I find very
appealing. Here is where I find him carrying on a strong tradition of
moving things along. I'll be anxiously awaiting the next step in that phase
as well.
