I just picked up the flyer for this today. Along with forementioned lineup
of Blaktronics, Mixmaster Morris, Daddy G of Massive attack will be:
Jonah Sharp (who opened for Carl Craig a few weeks ago with a great live
set with Ableton live and a mouse, much livelier than the past material
I've heard from him which was ambient and not pumpin funk),
John Beltran,
Miguel Migs and Lisa Shaw,
and 100% Dynamite from Souljazz UK, which I thought was just a great
popular series of compilations featuring old and rare Jamaican cuts, but I
guess it's a live act? anyone have any info on this act?
and locals including Markie of Wicked fame, and groovy live house outfit
soulstice
It all goes down on Sunday September 29 on Treasure Island. $35 in advance
