It's the other way round for me. The Nubian Mindz track just seems poorly executed to my ears, and the vocal sample annoys, but the Freedom Soundz track is like an old wired-up Kenlou track: those snares! Recent buys for me: Blaze "Spiritually Speaking" LP - the EW&F comparisons at their most apt. My favourite's the Amira collaboration, "I Think Of You". Freaks "The Washing Machine". A cut above the usual bouncy fare. Jazzanova remix of MAW's "Our Time Is Coming" - a Roy Ayers megamix remix. Osunlade pres. Nadirah Shakoor (sp? - not as bad as Jurren's attempt on Jacek Sienkiewicz, I hope ;).
