You might - I expect a good (club) DJ to make me dance.
I expect them to make me dance through playing new and exciting music.
If you really want your expectations challenged and to be 'constantly
surprised', would you really go to Lost?
I used to go to Lost to be "challenged". As P Dircon has pointed out, they
used to book DJs like Mike Dunn and Mark Broom. One particular party springs
to mind - the Axis party with Mills and Hood in 95 (I think). That was a
real eye-opener, but I haven't heard sets liek that from either Hood or
Mills since.
