I was in total agreement with you in a way until you mentioned Francois K. I was at that Lost, and to be honest, I remember a few of my close associates saying a similar things about him. You know, should be playing a 'Body & Soul' type set. Well in response to that I totally disagree. At the end of the day, it is down to Lost to book him for what they want and steer him that way. I wanted to experience the journey of one of his typical sets, but instead I witnessed a guy expressing himself in a thoughtful way but with techno records - and I enjoyed it. I mean how many times does FK get to do that? and furthermore I feel he will be doing this a lot more often from now on. He masde have used the effects, but I thought it was well controlled. Not just some run of the mill ass who wants to wear put the effects unit on a pioneer. It was deeper, and people who witnessed his attempt at this type of set at Sonar will know what I mean.
More of please FK. Am I the only one? smc ---- Original Message ----- From: Robert Taylor <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: '::P' <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Placid <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; Tom Robbins/Magic Feet <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>; 313 mailing list <[email protected]> Sent: Tuesday, September 17, 2002 11:27 AM Subject: RE: [313] Fw: 28 SEPT.
