1)your favorite sleeve:

Techno the new dance sound of Detroit - the emblem is just so cool with the
skyline behind it.
All Transmat sleeves - the logo the logo the logo
Carl Craig's "More Songs about Food and Revolutionary Art"
Kraftwerk covers
Stacy Pullen's "Today is the Tomorrow you were promised Yesterday"
Ken Ishii's "Jelly Tones"
The early DJ Kicks series with just the photo of the artist and the
monocolor backgrounds

2)so what have been your most lucky finds?

A Number of Names "Sharivari" on Quality for about the same price as a cup
of coffee. In one of my local used record shops they have a "new arrivals"
and then those eventually get transferred to the masses of used stuff. I
found it among the masses. How it ever slipped passed I have no idea but I
had to look at it for several minutes just to get it into my head that I
was holding it in my hand and for the price??

Techno: The new dance sound of Detroit - not found but given to me as a
gift from a good friend's personal collection

Silent Phase "Psychotic Funk" on Transmat - in a little DJ store, again in
the used bin but in mint condition sleeve and all.

Sabres of Paradise "Theme" - same store same story.

Derrick May "Strings of Life" on Kool Kat w/Juan Atkins remix - slipped
into a Plastic City record sleeve by whomever sold it to the shop.

Malcolm McLaren "Duck Rock" just this past weekend Bu-Bu-Buffalo Gals.

Carl Craig's "Bug in the Bassbin" on Mo'Wax - new but hadn't seen it around
these parts before (on the same day and same shop as the Sabres of
Paradise.

Fade II Black "The Dilemma" on Elypsia (which has some cool label art)

there have been so many I can't recall all of them...
