I'm sure that the "acid" prefix was a semi-ironic jibe about the fact
that, back then, everyone seemed to be sticking the word "acid" in front
of everything to make it sound cool and current... there was no link at
all between the two, and as far as I'm aware a lot of people in the Acid
jazz scene were very sceptical towards house full stop, acid or no acid.
