The new Monobox 12" on Logistic and the upcoming album were mentioned on
this list. Many new Detroit techno and house records are mentioned on this
list along with many other releases. I don't know how you can complain.
Detroit releases have been a little slow coming out the first quarter of
this year but I am sure there will be a steady stream starting now and
reaching its peak with the Movement 2003 Festival. But it is obvious that
you aren't using your resources to find out this information; i.e. record
lists, online music samples, and visiting your local underground dance music
store to listen to the music.
Also, many of the major players who make this music contribute to this list.
So what's the problem with recommending their releases? Biased reviews? But
the artists are the contributors and the majority of the list members know
what good Detroit techno/ house is. There are some real experts on this list
that have written reviews for years and one has even written a book on
Detroit techno that is a key reference work. Also, I am sure that the
majority of the underground Detroit music community keeps a watchful eye on
this list, even though some do not contribute. Please stop being so
critical. This list has a wealth of information for you to use.
