Think Ableton Live for Live PA/production. Yes it can be used to DJ but it is overkill.....
Since Brenden is an accomplished producer, he is only using a fraction of Ableton Live's power in his DJ sets. His live PA sets probably take full advantage of Ableton Live. Did I ever tell you about the time BMG and I were involved in a head on car crash and his car was totaled ? Native Instruments Traktor is more a digital DJ tool. Native Instruments Finalscratch/Traktor is more the analog interface / digital DJ tool.
