Having grown up with belt driven, linear tracking and the ever popular direct
drive tables that are customary for us deejays I’d have to give it to the
classiest styli of them all: stanton 680

Not once has this little baby ever failed me when playing those awful
miss-presses we’re so accustomed to getting as advance white labels which
always seem to catch the ominous glitch in manufacturing, like audible bass
drops and the ever sad mastering flaw of tightly woven grooves that would make
any other normal styli that isn’t cut as razor sharp as the 680 to skip right
over it. Call me a dinosaur but I still believe in Stanton after all these
years and numerous trials on every imaginable cartridge forged outta the R&D
labs around the globe.
