Good one Andrew! Here's one of my favs...which happened to me about a year or so ago...
In the middle of my set I drop the Jacksons "Can You Feel It" and the crowd goes wild. Funny thing is -- this girl comes up to me and says "Can you play the original?!" and i'm like "Huh?" "You heard me! Can you play the original of this?" Bewildered I reply, "THIS IS THE ORIGINAL!" And she persists in an argumentive way and says "No it's not...the original has a woman singing over it with a harder beat! What kind of DJ are you?" Later that night it dawned on me...she was referring to that god-awful cheese track by the Tamperer (circa 1996?) that SAMPLED the Jacksons!!! I was tickled silly by it all and still laugh to this day about it. Kered Futurebpm.com
