I just got home from work and my mom showed me the article in the Windsor Star.

I was just thinking about John on Sunday when I went to a club here in Windsor that used to be one of his old hangouts. I first met him at one of the local house/techno nights in Windsor about 7 or 8 years ago. He was an absolute spaz on the dancefloor and always full of energy.

John played a significant role in Windsor's house scene, especially during the 90s. He threw several parties around '95 and '96 (going by fuzzy memory here, could be a bit off) and brought in DJs like Paul Johnson and Johnny Fiasco.

The electronic music scene in Windsor is extremely small, but we all know each other, especially those that were around back in the city's "hayday" during the 90s. This is definitely something that will affect the community.
